TCP-IP in Mobile Networks

Course description

The course “TCP-IP in Mobile Networks” describes the general architecture of TCP-IP and IP-based networks and in particular how they are applied in Mobile Networks. The major protocols involved in the networks are covered, as well as IP telephony, Mobile IP, IP security etc. The network is built up step-by-step with all its nodes and components, including all routers and intermediate networks. Along this process the functionality of e g routers and the routing protocols are discussed as well as their configuration.

Target audience

The course is aimed at people in search of an overview of TCP/IP, its functionality, protocols and how TCP/IP is applied in Mobile Networks.
